I think I'm awake, but, it's still really dark in here and I know there is daylight, wait my eyes were still closed. OHHHH, OUCH, what the......my eyelids hurt!!!! How is that possible?? This boot camp worked muscles that I never knew existed in the human body. Rolling over is now an Olympic event and I should get the gold medal for the "cry out in pain" segment. Now where did I put that Hoyer Lift???
Yesterday, the pain moved in and set up house not long after boot camp ended which actually was really kind of fast. I thought, ok, I can handle this, not too bad. A little stiff here and there, but, not too bad. Fast forward 24 hours later and HELLO!!!! I found that the 1-inch drop in my walk-in shower has now become a whooping 6 inches as my screaming thigh muscles refused to bend and I fell in. Not to mention that lifting my arms to wash my hair catapulted my pain riddled body into contortions that even Ripley's would be impressed.
So, as I move slowly though my day, trying not to resemble a character from Michael Jackson's Thriller video, I am reminded that in less than 24 hours I will return to "hell" and do it all over again.
Peace
